Because Chinese itself has lots of redundant parts, when we speak English ,we may bring this habit into English .Of course there are lots of Chinglish in this paper. For example: “地主阶级和农民阶级的矛盾成为社会的主要矛盾 ”⑧。 I get the translation from “ The contradictions of the landlord class and peasant39。 s class bee principal contradictions of the society”. Here we can find the problems of translation from 5 Chinese to English. In this sentence there are two “class” and two “contraction” In Chinese we think it is OK. But in English we may find it is a little wordy. I think the second “Contractions” is better to be “ones”. Just now, I talked about the main problem of Chinglish. Of course, There are many more characteristics in Chinglish, we have to try to avoid them. Problems has e out . How can we speak right English? (1)Try to understand the explanation of English words. I mean we should try to know what it refers to. We cannot use the Chinese explanation all the time. Why we say “ He is a clever young boy.” Because they don‟t know the English meaning of „boy‟. When we know “boy” means male young human being below the age of puberty. We will not say „ a clever young boy‟. Another example “shout loudly”, when we think about it in Chinese, it is correct, when we think about it in English it will be not so good. “shout” means speak or call out in a loud voice. So when we study a new English word, we should try to know what it is in English. We should try to use the dictionary with English and Chinese explanations instead of only Chinese explanation. The Chinese explanation is only a reference, the same English word may have different Chinese words in respective context. (2)As we know, Chinese learn English mainly from their teachers, so teacher‟s English has very key affect to learners‟. They should teach them how to read English words, remember them and what they refer to. Language is alive, it is changing. As a teacher, he/ she should be a learner all the time. Only learners can understand what learners think, what difficulties they have, what learning methods they should have. Generally, teachers should try to improve their English. They ought to study English first, study teaching methods second. As a saying goes : “Live to learn”. (3)As an English learner, We‟d better know a lot about English and its culture‟s characteristics. English is a kind of alphabetic writing, its spelling has very close relation with its pronunciation. One can read it, he/she can write 6 it ,too. So Learners must have right pronunciation. English is a language that emphasizes on analyzing, its grammar is like math and geometry proof question. Because English words have many forms such as plurals, past tense ,past participle ,especially the verb‟s the third person odd number .In basic English test, we usually meet this kind of question: I will call you when she (e) back. From “will call and she” we know the word ought to be “es”. so English sometimes is like geometry proof question. Although it‟s a language, we still need to think about it carefully. As Henry Beecher said: “Thought is the blossom, language is the opening bud, action is the fruit behind it.” Engnese is not cared by Chinese these years. Whatever a translation book we open, we may find Engnese. Including the “Guide to a Course in EnglishChinese Translation”.
