Another example “shout loudly”, when we think about it in Chinese, it is correct, when we think about it in English it will be not so good. “shout” means speak or call out in a loud voice. So when we study a new English word, we should try to know what it is in English. We should try to use the dictionary with English and Chinese explanations instead of only Chinese explanation. The Chinese explanation is only a reference, the same English word may have different Chinese words in respective context. (2)As we know, Chinese learn English mainly from their teachers, so teacher‟s English has very key affect to learners‟. They should teach them how to read English words, remember them and what they refer to. Language is alive, it is changing. As a teacher, he/ she should be a learner all the time. Only learners can understand what learners think, what difficulties they have, what learning methods they should have. Generally, teachers should try to improve their English.
