The employee can be employed by the hotel only when the Certificate of Health has been obtained. 所有员工在被正式聘用前, 必须到 广东省 或 汕头 市 疾病预防控制中心 进行体检。 只有在获得 《 健康证 》 后方可被 酒店 录用。 Employee who will contact foodstuff during work must hold the health certificates of the category of Foodstuff Hygiene. Other employee shall hold the health certificates of the category of Public Hygiene. 在工作中需要接触食品的相关员工必须办理“食品卫生”类别的《健康证》,其他员工办理“公共卫生”类别的《健康证》。 Employee are required to have an annual medical examination. If a employee be infected with a contagious disease, he/she may be transferred to another position or suspended for medical treatment. 酒店 要求员工每年进行一次体检。 若员工患了传染病将被调离部门或停职治疗。 11 3 Probation 试用期 Each new employee should be advised that he/she is being hired on a specified probationary period according to the regulation of the Labor Law. 每个新入店的员工均有约定的试用期,具体参照 《 劳动法 》 的 有关 规定。 If a employee is transferred or promoted to another department/position, a three months trial period is applicable to the new position. If the employee has been found not suitable for the new position, he/she may be transferred back to the original department or assigned to another department at the discretion of the hotel. 若员工调整 /晋升至其它部门 /岗位,在新岗位须经过三个月的考察期。 如被发现不适合新职位,将被退回原部门或由 酒店 决定安排到其它岗位。 4 Employment Contract 劳动合同 According to the Labor Law, hotel should sign an employment contract with employee. 根据 《 劳动法 》 的规定, 酒店 须与员工签 订 劳动合同。 Employment contract must be signed between the hotel and the employee on the basis of mutual agreement. Both parties shall observe and implement the terms and regulations stipulated in the contract. When the contract expires, its renewal or extensions is subject to the mutual agreement of both parties. 酒 店与所聘员工建立劳动关系,须在双方同意的基础上签订劳动合同。 双方必须履行规定条款。 合同期满,双方同意后 可 进行合同续签。 5 Transfer 调换部门 The hotel reserves the right to transfer a employee to another department according to the operational requirements. If employee wishes to change departments, should first consult with the department head. The Internal Transfer Form should be finished and submitted for approval according to relevant requirements. 酒 店 有权根据经营需要调换员工的工作。 如员工想调换部门,须首先征得本部门经理的同意。 同时 需填写《 内部调动申请表 》,并根据要求完成审批手续。 6 Promotion 晋升 It is the policy of the hotel to fill vacancies by “promotions from within the anization” whenever possible. Any employee with excellent performance and potential to lead others will be rewarded in the form of a promotion. Selections will be based on merits, ability and length of service whereas all factors are treated equal. 12 酒 店 提倡尽可能从内部提升人员的政策。 凡是有着优秀工作表现并有潜力带领团队的员工都将被考虑为晋升的对象。 个人价值、工作能力及服务年限将被同等的视为晋升选拔的因素。 7 Resignation 辞职 During the probationary period, a employee may resign by giving three days notice in written way or equal payment of three days salary in lieu of notice. 试用期内员工辞职, 应提前 三天 以书面形式 通知 酒 店 或 以 等同天数的工资补偿通知期。 When the probation period is pleted, a employee may resign by giving thirty days notice in written way or thirty days payment of salary in lieu of notice. 通过试用期后的员工辞职, 应提前 三十天 以书面形式 通知 酒 店 或 以 等同天数的工资代替 通知期。 8 Termination 解雇 The hotel may terminate employee without pensation if employee breaks the hotel‟s rules as described in this handbook. 酒 店 可以如本手册中提及到的对严重违反 酒 店 规章制度的员工予以解雇并不给予任何的补偿。 All hotel issued items, such as uniform, locker key, name badge, hotel ID card and Employee Handbook are to be returned and the Departmental exit handover procedure should be finished on the last working day. Failure to finish this process will result in delaying issuance of the final settlement. 所有 酒 店 发给的物品,如制服、更衣柜钥匙、铭牌、员工证和员工手册应予以归还,同时在最后工作日还必须完成部门的工作交接。 如未完成此程序,则不予结算工资。 9 Exclusive service and entire time during employment 兼职工作之规定 As an employee of the Hotel, employee is required to devote entire attention to the services of the Hotel. 作为 酒 店 的一名员工,需要把全部精力放在 酒 店 的服务工作上。 Engaging in any other businesses, trade or job during the work time or by taking advantage of your position in the hotel is strictly not allowed. The employee may be subject to the termination of the employment contract with the employee without pensation. 员工不得在工作时间或利用工作之便从事其他生意和工作。 一经发现, 酒 店 将与该 13 员工解除劳动合同并不给予任何补偿。 10 Employment of close relatives 亲属聘用 An applicant must state the names of relatives, if any, working in the Hotel. Otherwise hotel would terminate the employment contract without pensation with related employee. 申请者如有任何亲属在本 酒 店 工作,则须告知亲属姓名。 如被 酒 店 查出有隐瞒行为 ,将立即与当事人双方解除劳动合同并不给予任何赔偿。 Any relatives of the hotel employee such as brothers, sisters, husband or wife, son or daughter etc. will not be employed in the same department of the hotel. 部门不聘用与本部门员工有亲属关系的员工(如兄弟、姐妹、夫妻、父母与子女等关系)。 11 Performance Appraisal 工作评估 Employee has to undergo a minimum of one performance appraisal every year besides probation, promotion and transfer appraisal during which employee will be guided by hotel management‟s expectation of them and advised of their work performance, points of improvement as well as career development. 除试 用期、晋升和调动评估外,员工每年至少要接受一次工作评估,以便员工了解酒 店 对其工作表现的评价及要求,以及个人发展的建议。 14 CHAPTER 4 第四章 Welfare and Benefits 工资与福利 1 Pay Arrangement 工资支付 Every month‟s salary will be transmitted to the employee‟s personal account by the 15th day of next month through the autobanking system. 每月 工资将以银行自动转帐方式在次月 15 日前 发放 到员工个人账户内。 The dismissal wages will be paid on the same day with other employees‟ wages, and the dismissal wag。staffhandbook员工手册
