When the upper part of swing rod (1) stops at the middle of two bobbins, the lower part of swing rod (1) swings out of the range of bobbin diameter. Thus the bobbin at the upper position will be stopped and cannot drop. The bobbin at the lower position will drop on the tilted rolling slot and slid out to the bobbin reversing plate. When the piston rod is at its starting position, the front end of rolling plate (5) should not touch the surface of front lap buildup roller. If the clearance is too big or the rolling plate is touching the front lap buildup roller, loose the nut at the front end of cylinder piston rod and turn the piston rod to reach the requirement. Check the position of the front end of plate (2) from the outer circle of disk shaft end. The dimension should be approximate 10 mm. Adjustment of Doffing Device The doffing device includes three parts – batt breaking, lap pushingout, and lap moving. The batt breaking device is driven by a batt breaking motor through a worm wheel reducer. The lap pushingout device includes the cylinder and the lap pushing plate. The requirement for its adjustment is that when the piston rod of lap pushing cylinder is stretching out, the lap pushing plate cannot touch the back lap buildup roller and the shaft clamps of left amp。 right disks.
